Original plumbing in updated homes
Plenty of South Tampa homes have been renovated cosmetically (new kitchen, new bathroom, new fixtures) while the supply and drain lines behind the walls are still the original galvanized or original cast iron. The house looks new, but the plumbing is 80 years old. When those old systems fail, they often fail catastrophically (a supply line burst behind a freshly tiled bathroom, or a cast iron drain that collapses under a slab). If your home is in that category, a plumbing evaluation before you renovate again is a good idea.
Whole-house repipes on the historic stock
For homes that still have significant original galvanized supply, a repipe to PEX or copper is not optional at some point. It is a matter of timing. Jerry runs repipes personally and can do them in phases if you want to spread cost, or all at once.
